Admission Procedure

  • Outpatient:
    (1) Doctors writes admission order.
    (2) Proceed to the Inpatient Admissions on the 1st floor.
    (3) Hand in NHI card.
    (4) Check in at Ward Nursing Station.
  • Emergency:
    (1) Doctors writes admission order.
    (2) Process the hospitalization procedure at admission counter.
    (3) Check in at Ward Nursing Station.
  • The National Health Insurance states that the patient, who has a Catastrophic Illness Certificate, can apply for co-payment exemptions by filling out the application form.
  • Admission Procedure:
    (1) Outpatient clinic --> Doctor writes admission order. --> Process the procedures at Inpatient Admissions on the 1st floor. --> Hand in NHI card. --> Check in at Ward Nursing Station.
    (2) Emergency Room --> Doctor writes admission order. --> Process the hospitalization procedure at admission counter. --> Check in at Ward Nursing Station.

Ward Rules and Visitors Information

  1. To offer a proper recuperation environment, please keep quiet in wards. And smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited in wards.
  2. In compliance with the regulations of the Bureau of National Health Insurance, please do not ask to leave for more than 4 hours at a time. If you do not come back to the ward within 24 hours, you will be processed as discharged at your own will.
  3. Dangerous possessions, weapons and contrabands are also prohibited in the hospital. People who violate the rule will be discharged and the police will be notified.
  4. The use of electric appliances appliance and cooking in the ward is strictly forbidden. To ensure the safe use of electricity there are drinking fountains and microwaves available in the kitchen.
  5. If a nursing aid is needed, you can ask the nursing staff for help to advise your application.
  6. In order to prevent from getting infectious diseases and disturbing the peace children under 12 years old are discouraged to enter the ward, unless it is necessary. In order to prevent spreading infectious diseases, children under 12 years old please avoid coming to wards to visit patients if unnecessary.
  7. To allow our patients to recover and recuperate peacefully, please cooperate and follow our visiting rule. Visiting time is as follows:
    (1) General ward:08:00~21:00
    (2) Intensive Care Unit :Morning 10:30~11:00;Evening 20:00~20:30
    (3) Psychiatric ward :Morning 10:00~12:00;Afternoon 16:00~20:00

Fees Regulations and Document Application

  1. If you are hospitalized as a NHI holder, the Health Insurance Bureau only covers your 4-bed-ward room fees. If you wish to stay in a 2-bed-ward, you will have to pay the difference. The difference is:
    (1) Daily amount: NTNT$600(refrigerator availibility)
    (2) Daily amount: NTNT$350
  2. Diagnosis Certificates:
    (1) General Diagnosis Certificates and Type A Diagnosis Certificates, apply to ward clerks or nursing staff before discharge.
    (2) National Health Insurance Catastrophic Illness Certificates, after doctors write Catastrophic Illness Certificates, apply for Catastrophic Illness card in the Bureau of National Health Insurance.
  3. Medical record copy and medical record summary application: Direct relatives should bring in the progenitors of patients' ID card and applicants' ID cards and register and apply with the original attending physician.

Discharge Procedures

  1. Doctors suggest a discharge or patients ask for discharge.
  2. Nursing station cashier gives a discharge permit, prescription and an outpatient reservation sheet.
  3. Go to medical building 1st floor and pay at Inpatient Admissions and get back NHI IC card.
  4. Get drugs at the pharmacy.
  5. Go back to ward and return the discharge permit. Nursing staff will instruct patients or family on how to use drugs.
  6. Leave the hospital.
  7. If there are any questions about discharge procedures, please talk to nursing staff at nursing station or ward clerks.
  8. Our hospital has discharge preparation services.

In order to provide your life quality during your stay, we provide the facilities and services below:

  1. Dieticians according to patients' conditions design our patients' food. If family and friends need to order food, please tell the nursing staff.

  3. We have a convenience store and the open hours are:
    (1) Monday- Friday 08:00~17:30
    (2) Saturday and national holidays 08:00~16:00
  4. Information Offer:
    (1) TV and newspapers in every ward lounge.
    (2) TVs set up in double rooms.
    (3) TV set up in pharmacy waiting area on the 1st floor.
  5. Patient Safety:
    (1) To make sure the identity safety during your stay, we require that you wear a bracelet. Please do not remove it.
    (2) To strengthen identity, our medical staff will check your names and identities repeatedly when giving treatment.
